Greased Lightning is an unmanned aircraft under development that combines vertical takeoff-and-landing capability with fixed-wing aerodynamic efficiency through rotating wings and horizontal stabilizer. The aircraft's design eliminates the need for launch catapults or landing catch mechanisms.
