By accessing or using Machine Census, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Machine Census.
1. Informational purpose
Machine Census provides informational and research content about robotics companies, products, capabilities, markets, and related topics. Content may include standardized specifications, classifications, scores, estimates, summaries, opinions, and links to sources.
Machine Census does not provide investment, financial, legal, engineering, safety, procurement, employment, or other professional advice. You are responsible for independently verifying information and deciding whether it is appropriate for your needs.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms. If you use Machine Census for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and “you” includes that organization.
3. Accuracy, sources, and updates
We aim to make Machine Census useful and credible, but robotics information changes quickly and may be incomplete, estimated, outdated, disputed, or sourced from third parties. A verification date, confidence indicator, citation, or capability score describes our research process; it is not a guarantee of accuracy, performance, safety, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
We do not guarantee that Machine Census will be complete, error-free, continuously available, or updated on any particular schedule. You should confirm material claims with the relevant manufacturer, company, source, or qualified adviser.
4. Permitted use
Subject to these Terms, you may use Machine Census for lawful personal or internal business purposes. You may link to public pages and quote limited excerpts with clear attribution to Machine Census.
Unless we give prior written permission, you may not:

Company names, robot names, logos, images, specifications, quotations, and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance on Machine Census does not imply affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement.
No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.
6. Submissions, corrections, and feedback
If you submit company or robot information, corrections, images, documents, feedback, or other material (“Submitted Content”), you represent that:
- The information is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- You are authorized to provide it.
- It does not violate another person’s rights, confidentiality obligations, or applicable law.
- It does not contain sensitive personal information, malware, or deceptive material.
You retain any rights you hold in Submitted Content. You grant Kalm Bay, LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, edit, translate, analyze, publish, distribute, display, and otherwise use Submitted Content to operate, improve, promote, and develop Machine Census.
We may verify, edit, reject, remove, or decline to publish any submission. Submission does not guarantee listing, coverage, a particular classification or score, or favorable treatment. We may contact you to verify a submission.
If you believe information is inaccurate or infringes your rights, contact us using the details below and provide enough information for us to review the request.
7. Editorial independence and commercial relationships
Unless clearly disclosed otherwise, payment, sponsorship, advertising, partnership, or submission does not guarantee inclusion, placement, scoring, or favorable coverage. Sponsored or paid content will be identified where required.
8. Email communications
If you subscribe to updates, you authorize us to send the communications you requested. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the message. We may still send non-marketing communications relating to requests or transactions you initiate.

Machine Census may contain links to or content from third-party websites and services. We do not control and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, security, products, services, or practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.

We may add, change, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of Machine Census at any time. We may also update these Terms. Updated Terms become effective when posted unless a later date is stated. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MACHINE CENSUS IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” KALM BAY, LLC DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AVAILABILITY, AND SECURITY.
We do not warrant the specifications, scores, claims, performance, safety, suitability, financial condition, employment opportunities, or commercial prospects of any robot, company, product, or service referenced on Machine Census.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KALM BAY, LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO MACHINE CENSUS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF KALM BAY, LLC FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO MACHINE CENSUS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF US$100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, TO USE MACHINE CENSUS DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations, so parts of these sections may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kalm Bay, LLC and its members, managers, employees, contractors, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your Submitted Content, misuse of Machine Census, or violation of these Terms or applicable law.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of [State], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or Machine Census will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in [County, State], and you consent to their jurisdiction and venue.
